The question that the quotista asked of the quotista CPTR11 Whether you want to respond when opening the June management report is short: Is it worth it? The answer is yes — but with nuance. The fund liquidated Patense, its biggest stressed case, 70% of face value, without any financial loss. The principal was paid in full and the remuneration of the period was equal to 42% of CDI. It was not the full CDI, but it was a much better outcome than the marking the 55% embedded in the unit was supposed to be.
The second question is even more important: Is this result recurrent? Here the answer is no — and understanding that separates who reads the headline number from who understands the background. The accounting result more than doubled (from R$ 0.072 to R$ 0.168/unit), but much of this jump is the accounting reversal of a provision that has now proved unnecessary. What sustains the month-to-month distribution is the cash result, which rose much more modestly: from R$ 0.108 to R$ 0.115/unit.
What was Patense and why liquidation to 70% imports
Patense is one of the takers of the CPTR11 credit card that had entered into judicial recovery. When a company enters RJ, the fund manager needs to reevaluate how much of that credit he can effectively recover — and, in the case of Patense, the position was marked at 55% of the face value. In other words: the unit already carried the discount that 45% of that amount could not return.
Marking 55% is a conservative estimate, not a sentence. The outcome could have been worse (recovery below 55%, which would generate additional loss) or better. In June, the best scenario came: the credit was settled at 70% of the par. As the marking was lower than the amount recovered, the fund had no loss — and still recorded the accounting gain of the difference between what was provisioned and what actually entered.
O efeito na carteira foi concreto: a exposição à Patense caiu de 3,9% para 0,9% do PL. And the residual slice is not rubbish — within the RJ itself was granted a new loan to the company, which was in default at the end of June.
Contábil de R$ 0,168 vs caixa de R$ 0,115: qual olhar
This is the most important distinction of the report. O O O As a result of accounting results incorporates non-recurring events, including the reversal of Patense’s provision — money that “appears” in the result because the fund manager had saved a reserve against a loss that did not materialize. It's a real number, but it doesn't happen every month.
O O O The result is cash., of R$ 0.115/unit, is what the fund effectively generates from interest received from the portfolio, month by month. This is the number that sustains the sustainable distribution. And it rose little (from R$ 0.108 to R$ 0.115), which is coherent: the recurring generation of a credit portfolio does not double from one month to the next.
The reserve of R$ 0.282/unit: the deliberate mattress
The fund distributed R$ 0.110 / unit, but generated more than that in the cash and much more in the accounting. The difference goes to a. reserva acumulada, which is now at R$ 0.282/unit — the equivalent of about 2.6 saved distribution months.
Maintaining this high reserve is a deliberate choice of the fund manager, and it makes sense for a FIAGRO credit. Instead of distributing everything you earn in the good months (such as June, inflated by Patense), the fund retains the surplus to smooth out the distribution in the bad months — when some borrower is late or when a stressed case demands provision. It is the opposite of a fund that distributes 100% of the result and then is forced to cut the dividend abruptly.
O que resta: AgroGalaxy e CRAS Brasil
Solved the Patense, the overhang of cases in judicial or extrajudicial recovery falls to about 9% of PL. Sobram basically three fronts:
| Caso | Exhibition (% PL) | Situation in jun/2026X |
|---|---|---|
| AgroGalaxyAgroGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxy | 3,9% | Sem atualizações no período |
| CRAS Brasil | 3,4% | Final phase of the RJ plan — approval expected for August |
| Belagrícola | ~1,1% | Em accompaniment |
| Patense (residual) | 0,9% | New loan within RJ, adimplentent |
The case to follow closely is A. CRAS Brasil: the judicial recovery plan is in the final phase of adjustments and approval is expected in August. If it comes out on the terms discussed, it will be another stressed case coming out of limbo — in the way of what happened to Patense. A AgroGalaxyAgroGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxyGalaxy, the largest remaining stressed exposure (3.9%), remains unchanged, and is the main focus of the thesis from now on.
The fall in commodities affects buyers?
June was hard for agriculture: soy fell 6.6%, corn 7% and oil 20% in the month. For a fund whose debtors are agribusiness enterprises, low commodity price tightens the cash generation of the takers — is the background that explains why cases of RJ appear in the industry.
Two factors attenuate this risk in CPTR11. First, the wallet is sprayed: 55 active in 39 takers, with 96% of the credits covered by collateral and 100% audited (EY, without exception). Second, the duration is short, of 1.7 year, which limits exposure to a prolonged cycle of depressed prices. Still, with 55% of the portfolio indexed to CDI + 3.6% and Selic on a downward trajectory, recurring cash generation tends to compress in the medium term — it is worth monitoring the cash result, not the accounting, in the next reports.
Quota, misadventure and the built-in prize
The unit closed June at R$ 8.06 (-1.10% in the month, stable in the semester), against a capital value of R$ 10.05 — a disadvantage of 19.8%. This discount raised the implicit net rate to CDI + 13.6% (was CDI + 12.9). It is a high risk premium, and it exists for a reason: the market still prices the uncertainty of cases in RJ. Each positive resolution, such as that of Patense, is an argument for some of this discomfort to be closed.
Synthesis. The liquidation of the Patense to 70% of the pair, without loss, is the best possible news for the CPTR11 in June: it reduced the biggest stressed case of 3.9% to 0.9% of the PL and brought down the total overhang of RJ% to ~9XX%%. But the quotationist needs to read the right number — the jump from the accounting result to R$ 0.168/unit is largely the reversal of a provision and does not repeat itself. What matters for the sustainability of the dividend is the cash result (R$ 0.115) and the reserve of R$ 0.282/unit, which the fund manager deliberately maintains high to shield the distribution.
